MonoSquare 5x

MonoSquare 5x is a custom-made font I created to satisfy my very niche game design needs/preferences. Each symbol fits inside a 5x5 pixel grid. That grid is also one line tall, with no overhang or extension. Thus, regardless what symbols are used or in what combination, the result is always a square grid of symbols by pixel count.

The purpose of this is to create console-output ASCII or text art games without having to deal with fonts that exist primarily to act as a font, rather than to act as a stand-in for symbols of other things.

The actual pixel grid per symbol is 5x5, simply because I genuinely like have center-spaced vertical lines and a truly symmetrical capital-X. Even-set dimension characters can not have this single pixel central dividing line which makes for ugly symbols. I do not care that it is tradition in this regard. I want a true single-pixel centered capital A top point without offsetting the symbol inside the grid and disrupting the strict kerning of the pixel grid.
